Michael
Inman is a partner at Inman & Strickler focusing his practice
in the areas of Community Association/Condominium Law, Real Estate
and Business Law. He has been in practice since 1973. Mr. Inman
was named a Virginia Super Lawyer in 2006. For a number of years
he co-authored a column on community association issues which
appeared in the Virginian-Pilot and has co-authored a chapter
in Real Estate Transactions in Virginia published by
the Virginia State Bar. He was selected for membership in the
College of Community Assocation Lawyers.
Mr. Inman received his undergraduate and law degrees from the
College of William & Mary, where he earned the distinction of
membership in Omicron Delta Kappa, Phi Alpha Delta, and contributed
to the William & Mary Law Review. He served as a Captain in the
U.S. Army Reserve from 1968-1973. He has served on the Board of
Directors of Seton Youth Shelters, a counseling center and shelter
for youth since 1985, and currently serves as Chairman of the
Board.
Mr. Inman is a member of the Virginia Beach Bar Association and
the Virginia State Bar. The law firm is a member of the Community
Associations Institute-Southeastern Virginia Chapter (CAI), of
which Mr. Inman is a past director, officer and recipient of numerous
awards for extraordinary service. Mr. Inman is also a member of
the statewide Virginia Legislative Action Committee of CAI, which
advocates change in the law and monitors bills affecting community
associations.
