Jeanne S. Lauer

Jeanne S. Lauer is a partner at Inman & Strickler focusing her practice in the areas of Civil Litigation, Community Association Law and Commercial Litigation.
Born in Fairfax, Virginia, Mrs. Lauer received her B.S. from James Madison University in 1987 and her J.D. from the Marshall-Wythe School of Law, College of William & Mary in 1990. Upon graduation, she served a one year clerkship with the 19th Judicial Circuit Court in Virginia.
Ms. Lauer is a member of the Virginia State Bar, Virginia Beach Bar Association, and the Southeastern Virginia Chapter of the Community Associations Institute (SEVA-CAI). She recently completed two terms on the Board of Directors of SEVA and CAI and lectures frequently on legal issues involving community associations. In addition to all Virginia state courts, she is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Virginia, and U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Eastern and Western Districts of Virginia.
Ms. Lauer participates in the community through her membership in the Kings Grant Civic League and Concerned Citizens for Special People, a nonprofit organization providing assistance and information to the families and friends of people with disabilities. She is also the proud soccer mom of two.
